2025 Pt. Lay Music and Health Fest

Artists Byron Nicholai, Brother Buffalo and Wasabi spend 3 days working with the kids of Kali (Pt. Lay) to create and record a song. Quyanaq (thank you) to the Kali dance group for partnering with us and performing on the first night of our 3-day event. Quyanaq to Alaska Community Action on Toxics for supporting this annual festival.

2024 Nuiqsut Music and Health Fest

Artists Byron Nicholai, Cfluent and Wasabi performed in Nuiqsut. We also held an air quality monitoring workshop and a deeply meaningful and connecting mental health and addiction recovery workshop. Quyanaqpak (big thanks) to Grandmothers Growing Goodness and Alaska Community Action on Toxics.

2023 Utqiagvik Music and Health Fest

Artists AKU MATU, Wasabi, Saraaraq and Gabe Tegoseak performed at the first annual music and health fest. Quyanaqpak (thank you so much) to Alaska Community Action on Toxics for leading and inspiring what would become an annual musical celebration, community gathering and educational event.
